Everyone needs a safe place to lean on. We’re not raising radical soldiers but nurturing people who trust and wait on God. Let others lean on you without fear. If you believe God is good, trust His will and wait with them—be ready to reflect His light.

Real change begins when we stop blaming others and allow God to change us. When trust is built, we can ask hard questions and gently help people see life differently—with Jesus as our focus.

As we grow in Christ, others will notice changes in us. It’s Jesus at work, but those around us may not understand yet. Take time to get to know their families and friends. They may not fully grasp it now, but they’re noticing something from God. Let’s ensure God gets the credit for the change they admire.

As you get to know someone, you’ll begin to see the needs and concerns of the people around them. Begin discussing their family and friends, and help them find simple, loving solutions inspired by Jesus. Focus on ideas that are not demanding, and continue supporting and encouraging them as these ideas grow.

When someone around the person begins to change and respond well, it's a good time to partner with them. Although they may seem ready for more, it's best to return to step 1 and move slowly to build the relationship. People are drawn to good things, but the key is to walk through challenges together and guide them back to Jesus' way.
