Testimony: Thembisa

Helen: OK. So what is Vuku Family to you and why are you in the Vuku Family? Can you please explain to us what it means to you?

Thembisa: OK, to me, Vuku Family is a group of people that come together in trying to let people know about Jesus' love — and also give them that love. And also care about each other. We build relationships. And read the Word of God. And try to understand it — not to know everything, because we won’t. You know, it won't be perfect, but we try to understand.

Helen: Has joining the Vuku Family made any changes in your life?

Thembisa: It did a lot. I used to be... how can I say... I didn't want to be around people. I stayed indoors, in bed. I didn’t want to talk to people. But then I gave Vuku a chance. I’ve changed a lot. Now I can talk to people. I can smile, I can laugh. I’m happy — because you guys showed me love. You cared. You opened something in me.
